Dr. Kiarash Karimi, DMD, DDS received his DMD degree from the University of Szeged, Hungary, in 2010, followed by a Certificate in Advanced Restorative Dentistry from UCLA in 2012. He earned his DDS degree from the University of Colorado in 2014 before completing advanced specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2019. He is currently a PhD candidate in Operative Dentistry at the University of Szeged.
Dr. Karimi maintains a private practice while serving as a part-time faculty member at UCLA. His clinical focus encompasses all aspects of restorative dentistry, with particular interests in biomimetic and minimally invasive dentistry, adhesive restorative techniques, microscopically enhanced dentistry, rubber dam isolation, and implant dentistry.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Karimi is actively involved in research and education. He has authored numerous publications, including technique articles, case reports, and in vitro studies evaluating dental materials. As a lecturer, he is passionate about translating evidence-based concepts into practical clinical protocols, with a special emphasis on conservative restorative approaches that preserve tooth structure and optimize long-term outcomes.
