Bora Korkut studeerde in 2008 af aan de Universiteit van Marmara (Istanbul).

Zijn interessegebieden zijn Restauratieve tandheelkunde, Pre-restauratieve Clear Aligners, Restauratieve materialen en toepassing technieken, Esthetische tandheelkunde, directe composietrestauraties (anterieur en posterieur), Creamic veneers, Cad/Cam restauraties, Tandfotografie, Bleken van tanden, Pre-restauratieve procedures (alignerbehandeling, harsinfiltratie, microabrasie)

Sinds 2011 is hij academicus aan de afdeling Restauratieve Tandheelkunde, Faculteit Tandheelkunde van de Marmara Universiteit. Verder is hij ook onderzoeker, docent, fotograaf en schrijver van verschillende academische artikels en boeken.
